Why Advanced Composites?
Long used in the aerospace industry, advanced composites (CFR-TP’s) are characterized by high strength, lightweight and extreme toughness.
We manufacture at high temperature to ensure the fibers are fully encapsulated by the binding agent: thermoplastics. This ensures no micro-cracks will appear while operating under high stress or heat.
Forming under extremely high pressure ensures all air voids are fully extracted thereby dramatically increasing propeller longevity.
Uni-directional continuous fibers are proven for unsurpassed strength-to-weight ratios which allow for customized propeller design to maximize performance and minimize cost
Uni-directional, continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastics (CFR-TP's) provide tensile strengths above 220k psi - up to 10x compared to other materials!
Using only the amount of material we need, excess weight and costs are dramatically reduced
Profound toughness allows for use within extreme environments where other propellers simply will not survive
